Piper and Reno

I first met Piper and Reno through family friends. Our first session, I honestly didn't know much about them, other than they just got engaged. After spending a little over an hour with them, I quickly realized how Reno could not keep his eyes off Piper, all he wanted to do was make her laugh, and smile. Every moment between them was both genuine, sweet and real. They're just the type of couple you know will never loose that spark between them. They were so in love, and overall a blast to shoot with. 

Piper and I had an idea to incorporate twisted tea into the photoshoot. It was an extremely hot, dry summer day in Wyoming. We spent the evening taking photos on Renos parents land outside of Sheridan, sipping on Twisted Teas and laughing. It was a great experience that I hope to share with more couples. We ended the session with a pour...... pouring beer all over Reno that is. It was a great ending to a perfect engagement session.

Cache and Brenna

My favorite memory from this enchanted moody evening in Tongue River Canyon was when Brenna asked me if I would be able to keep a journal of letters she wrote to her future husband, Cache. One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting able to share and be trusted in these special moments. I was absolutely honored that Cache and Brenna chose me to document their love story. 

Does Location matter? 

Location for me is important. One thing, I always taught my photography students was that distractions make or break your photo. I am lucky enough to live in such a vast beautiful rural area, such as the bighorns. When Brenna and Cache wanted to go to the Canyon I was all for it. These photos are proof that you do not have to hike to strenuous areas to capture your dream photos.
